OBAGI Clinical® Blue Brilliance™ Triple Acid Peel

Use one vial every two weeks. Be sure to carefully follow all pre-peel and post-peel instructions included in the package. 1. Make sure skin is clean and completely dry. Do not use on wet skin. 2. Use clean gauze or pad to apply the first layer of the peel to clean, dry skin in a systemic pattern as follows: Center of the forehead to the temple in each direction; Down the sides of the face, following the perimeter of the jawline; Center of the brows and down the bridge of the nose; Down the sides of the nose to the upper and lower cheek area; Above the upper lip area (avoid direct contact with the lips); Under the chin in each direction and along the jawline; Finish with décolletage area (if desired) in each direction. One full-face layer application should use approximately half of the product in the vial. If applicable, the second layer should use the remaining product in the vial. You may experience mild tingling for the duration of the application. This is normal. If significant irritation (strong burning or stinging, significant discomfort, erythema) arises and does not subside after 3-5 minutes, do not apply the second layer of the peel. If the peel is intolerable, it should be removed immediately. 3. Allow the peel to remain on the skin for about 10 minutes after application of the first layer. The peel should be removed with a damp gauze or towel and followed by rinsing with water. 4. Apply a physical sunscreen to the treated area and be sure to use sunscreen daily after the peel. Post-Peel Care: Sun Alert: Adequate broad-spectrum sunscreen protection must be used for at least one week after use of this product. It's recommended to continue sunscreen use daily thereafter. Sun exposure can counteract the effects of the peel and potentially result in skin discolorations or adverse reactions. Following the peel, skin may be slightly dry and red for 1-2 days. Mild flaking or peeling may occur within 48 hours and can last 2-5 days. Even if your skin doesn't show physical signs of peeling, the product is still exfoliating your skin. It is not recommended to speed the peeling process with any sort of additional exfoliation or scrubbing but rather treat the skin very gently at this time. Do not pick or pull peeling skin. It's recommended to avoid facial products containing fragrance for 3-5 days after the peel, as they may irritate the skin. A mild moisturizer, such as the Obagi Clinical Kinetin+ Hydrating Cream may be used to minimize dryness and redness as needed. Wait until peeling as completely subsided before having any other facial procedures performed after receiving Obagi Clinical Blue Brilliance Triple Acid Peel.
